PICS. Going over the site statistics (and my own ‘Show Your Stats’ page), one truth immediately jumps out at you… photos are huge. The give a sense of perspective and context, and are so interesting!

After all, aren’t the cookbooks with pictures a billion times better than those that are just text?

If you want to get on the ‘Most Viewed in 24 Hours page’ add a closeup photo of your recipe. This makes sense, really, make when people are just exploring the site and looking for recipes, the pics are what capture your attention.

Other helpful hints:

• If your recipe is for more than 4 people, mention that in the article
• Your mobile phone can view weeatt site in its browser; it helps when you’re at the grocery store and need to remember whether it was green onions or regular (or when you’re just exploring for recipes)
