A little twist to an old recipe.. Still good served with Mashed Potatoes and English Peas,,,,

Ingredients

  • 1 (15 1/2-ounce) can of pink salmon, drained
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1/3 cup self rising flour
  • 3/4 cup (3 ounces) shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • Vegetable oil

How To...


Remove skin and bones from Salmon if desired; flake salmon with a fork.. Add egg, buttermilk, flour. and Cheddar cheese, stirring well. Shape salmon mixture into 6 patties. (Mixture will be moist). Pour oil to a depth of 1/8 inch into a large heavy skillet. Cook patties in hot oil over medium heat 8 mins. or until golden brown, turning once…
