Cheesy potato dish, great with barbeque

Ingredients

  • 32 oz. bag frozen hash brown potatoes
  • 8 oz. sour cream
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 stick margarine, melted
  • 1 c. grated cheddar cheese
  • Potato chips

How To...

Mix all the ingredients together reserving half of the melted butter. Pour into a greased 9" x 13" dish. Sprinkle with crushed potato chips and drizzle the remaining butter over the chips. Bake @350 degrees for 45 min – 1 hour.

This is a very versatile recipe – Bacon bits, red or green peppers, green onions, or ham may each be added. Unsweetened cereals such as Wheat Chex may be used instead of potato chips. For an extra bite jalapeno or sharp cheddar cheese maybe used.
