I asked my aunt for some of her favorite recipes so that they don't get forgotten over time and this is one of them!

Ingredients

  • 2 lb powered sugar
  • 1 can Eagle Brand milk
  • 1/2 lb melted butter (2 sticks)
  • 2 t. vanilla
  • 4-6 cups coconut
  • 1 block parrafin
  • 2 pkg chocolate chips (12 oz bags)

How To...

Mix sugar, milk, butter & vanilla til creamy & smooth. Add coconut. Make into balls & freeze. (Drop onto wax paper on cookie sheet)

Top of double boiler, melt chocolate chips & paraffin. Use ice pick to dip balls into chocolate mixture. Place on wax paper again. Fill hole left from ice pick with toothpick dipped into chocolate mixture. Freeze, keep in freezer. Pecan may be added.
