Best Bisquits in the world, hands down.

Ingredients

  • 1 C. Warm Water
  • 2 pks. Yeast
  • 1Tbsp. Sugar
  • ¾ C. Salad oil
  • 2 C. Buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. Baking Soda
  • 5 C. Self rising flour

How To...

Mix together warm water, yeast and sugar. When yeast has dissolved add oil and buttermilk. Mix the flour and baking soda together and add to the wet mixture. Mix well with a spoon, not with a mixer. Put in a covered bowl for a few hours or overnight. Stir slightly and dip out with a spoon onto a floured board. Work with your hand to form a biscuit. Bake @ 450 for 25 min. Remaining dough can be kept covered in refrigerator for up to 1 week.
