Traditional pecan pie with added goodness - CHOCOLATE!

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs slightly beaten
  • 1 cup Karo syrup, light or dark
  • 4 1oz. squares Bakers' German Sweet Chocolate or
  • Semi-sweet Chocolate squares, melted and cooled
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 2 T. butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 t. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 c. pecans
  • 1 unbaked 9" pastry shell

Method


<p>In a large bowl, stir eggs, corn syrup, chocolate, sugar, butter and vanilla until well blended. Stir in pecans. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake in 350 degree oven 50 - 60 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between center and edge come out clean.</p>
