Swedish cookies

Ingredients

1 cup butter or margarine
3/4 cup sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/3 cup blanched almonds

Method

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Cream butter and sugar. Combine flour and baking powder and add to creamed mixture. Chill Roll into small balls. Place on buttered cookie sheet Place 1/2 almond on each ball.

Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
