- 1 cup butter or margarine
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/3 cup blanched almonds
<p>Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Cream butter and sugar.
Combine flour and baking powder and add to creamed mixture.
Roll into small balls.
Place on buttered cookie sheet
Place 1/2 almond on each ball.</p>
<p>Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.</p>
