Great to have on hand.
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Sift dry ingredients together, cut in shortening. Add yeast & buttermilk to dry ingredients and mix well. Knead quickly 25 - 30 times. Roll out to desired thickness, cut with biscuit cutter and place on cookie sheet. Freeze and store in zip-lock bags. When ready to use, place the desired number on a greased cookie sheet, without thawing, and place in cool oven. Set oven at 400 degrees and bake until brown, about 15 minutes.
