Substitute butter for avocado in your brownies for a healthy alternative!

Ingredients

  • 2 avocados (about 2/3 cup)
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2/3 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup melted chocolate
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Method


<ol> <li>Preheat oven to 325 degrees.</li> <li>Mash avocado in a large bowl.</li> <li>Add melted chocolate and mix until smooth.</li> <li>Add cocoa, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Mix until smooth. Avocado will always give a slightly chunky texture to the batter.</li> <li>Add flour, baking powder and salt. Mix until smooth.</li> <li>Add chocolate chips for texture.</li> <li>Pour into pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.</li> </ol>
