You don't have to use Honey Crisps, but if you can find them, they are so delicious!

Ingredients

  • 6 Honey Crisp apples - peeled, cored and cut into wedges
  • 1 c water
  • 2 T sugar
  • 1/4 t cinnamon
  • 1 t vanilla

Method


Add apples and water to large saucepan. Bring to boil and reduce to simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in remaining ingredients and mash apples to desired consistency. Serve warm, room temp, or cold. Freezes well!
