It is delicious!!

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1 onion, peeled and grated
  • 1 12-ounce can tomato paste
  • 1 16-ounce can tomato sauce
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • A "pinch" of salt

Method


  • Put it all in a large stock pot (yes the raw beef too, the water helps the beef to break up better if raw).
  • Combine & mix well, simmer on med-low heat for approx. 2 hours.

You can save for later, eat then or freeze ( let cool, of course before )

I didn't have potatoes so I substituted rice I didn't have paprika so I used another spice I didn't have tomato sauce so I used tomato paste A whole can-not a half can-I don't believe in waste. A friend gave me the recipe She said you couldn't beat it There must be something wrong with her I couldn't even eat it!
