- Fruit Prep
- 2/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 Tbsp cornstarch
- 5 cups of favorite berries (mixed or not)
- 1 Tbsp Fresh Lemon
- Topping Prep
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 3/4 cup of oats
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 stick of cold butter (Sliced)
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 3 Tbsp Chopped crystallized ginger
Preheat oven at 375 F
In a bowl, mix sugar and cornstarch. Then add berries and lemon juice and mix.
Disburse evenly over 8 bowls.
In same bowl combine flour, oats and brown sugar. With hands, work butter and cinnamon into bowl until crumbs form. Then mix in crystallized ginger. Lay crumbs over berries.
Bake for 30 minutes or until bubbling. Cool and serve</p>
