Mom's oatmeal cookie, made sugar free
1. Melt Shortening
2. Beat shortening. sugars, egg, water, and vanilla until creamy.
3. Sift together flour, salt, and baking soda,
4. Mix Result with creamy mixture and stir in oats.
5. Drop on greased cookie sheet, about walnut size, and bake 12 to 15 minutes at 175.
6. If you want them flatter use a drinking glass, dip the bottom in sugar and press lightly on the dough walnut.
