Greek Lasagne

Greek Lasagne easy to make however uses a lot of pans. You can prepare it ahead of time.


  • 2 boxes of Rigatoni noodles (I use whole wheat)
  • 2 pounds of ground beef
  • 1 medium onion or equal portion of frozen onion
  • 1 cups of Parmesan Cheese
  • 8 ounces of feta cheese
  • 1 14.5 oz can of Roasted tomatoes diced
  • 2 tsp of cinnamon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 cups milk
  • 3 tbs cornstarch
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 1/2 c parmesan cheese


<ol> <li><p>Cook noodles as directed on package just until tender. Drain and set aside</p></li> <li><p>Preheat oven to 350 degrees F</p></li> <li><p>Brown ground beef and onion. Once brown remove from heat and drain grease.</p></li> <li><p>Add tomatoes, feta cheese parmesan, tomatoes and cinnamon mix together. Salt and pepper to tase. Mix well</p></li> <li><p>Sauce: In a sauce pan over medium heat mix together milk and cornstarch until no lumps remain and parmesan and butter cook until slightly thickened when just comes to a boil. Stir frequently so the sauce doesn't burn to bottom of pan.</p></li> <li><p>In a large greased baking dish you mix or layer the noodles and meat mixture. I choose to layer noodles meat noodles.</p></li> <li><p>Take the sauce pour over the top.</p></li> <li><p>Bake in oven 1 hour let set for 10 minutes before serving.</p></li> </ol> <p>You can prepare up to placing in the oven the night before refridgerate then bake it gives the flavors a chance to set in.</p>
