when you use We Eatt.
GDPR legal basis for collecting your information
We collect the minimum amount of information needed to provide the products and services you've requested. How we collect and use your data is covered by our legitimate interest.
Your rights under GDPR
You may:
- Be informed whether we store your data.
- Be granted access to your data (with some stipulations – see GDPR Article 15 for the precise terms. Note that we store so little of your data that it may require more information to authenticate your request than information we actually hold).
- Correct any errors in our records – for instance, update your email address.
- Request that your records be erased.
- Restrict our processing of your data. This means that we will continue to store your data, but will not use it.
- Object to our use of your data.
- Request the data we hold be provided to you or to another service. See GDPR Article 20 for the precise terms.
- Not be subject to decisions based entirely on automated processing.
- Exercising some of these rights might interfere with our ability to provide you with our services. For instance, if you request your records be erased, information about your purchase history will also be removed.
To exercise any of these rights, please write to admin@weeatt.com. You can update your email and change the password directly from this website, without sending any email.
Personal Information
-
Non-Account Activity.
You can view and print recipes on We Eatt without having a We Eatt account.
-
Account-Related Activity.
Certain other activities on Weeatt - embedding videos, uploading images, posting
comments, sharing recipes, or rating recipes require you to
have a We Eatt Account or a Google Account. We ask for some personal
information when you create a We Eatt account,
including your email address and a password, which is used to protect
your account from unauthorized access.
-
Usage Information.
We may record information about your usage, such as when you use We Eatt, the recipes you view and your navigation throughout the site. When you are not logged in, Google Analytics may still track you across pages.
-
Content Uploaded to Site.
Any personal information or recipe content that you voluntarily disclose
online becomes publicly available and can be
collected and used by others. Recipes that you mark as 'private' will not be accessible by the general public; a public recipe that you mark private may be cached by internet websites, browsers, or search engines, but will not be accessible on We Eatt.
Uses
-
If
you submit personally identifiable information to us through We Eatt, we use your personal information to operate, maintain,
and provide to you the general and personalized features and

activity or correspondence you send to us.
-
Your account
name (not your email address) is displayed to other Users when you create recipes. Any images you upload, or recipes you create and mark 'public' may be redistributed through the
internet and other media channels, and may be viewed by the general
public.

consent for non-marketing or administrative purposes (such as notifying
you of major We Eatt Site changes or for customer service purposes).

We
use both your personally identifiable information and certain
non-personally-identifiable information (such as anonymous user usage
data, cookies, IP addresses, browser type, clickstream data, etc.) to
improve the quality and design of the We Eatt Sites and to create new
features, promotions, functionality, and services by storing, tracking,

Third-party Advertisers, Links to Other Sites
We Eatt allows other companies, called third-party ad servers or ad networks,
to serve advertisements within the
We Eatt Sites. These third-party ad
servers or ad networks use technology to send, directly to your

They automatically receive your IP address when this happens. They may
also use other technologies (such as cookies, JavaScript, or Web
Beacons) to measure the effectiveness of their advertisements and to
personalize the advertising content you see.
We Eatt does not
provide any personally identifiable information to these third-party ad
servers or ad networks without your consent or except as part of a
specific program or feature for which you will have the ability to
opt-in or opt-out.
You should consult the respective privacy policies of
these third-party ad servers or ad networks (see links below) for more
information on their practices and for instructions on how to opt-out
of certain practices. We Eatt's privacy policy does not apply to, and
