Broccoli-Rice Casserole

A "Must-Have" for Thanksgiving/Christmas Dinner


  • 1 c. Rice
  • 2 c. Water
  • 1 stick of butter, melted
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 pkgs. Chopped broccoli
  • 1 jar Cheese Whiz
  • 1 can Cream of Mushroom soup
  • Milk


Cook one cup of rice with 2 cups of water. Bring to a boil then turn to low heat. Cook approx. 20 min.

Break up the broccoli and cook with the onion just until the onion is translucent. Add cheez whiz, cream of mushroom soup and ½ of either the cheez whiz bottle or ½ soup can of milk. Add cooked rice, let sit until thick. Serve.

Tip: To give it some spicy-ness add finely chopped jalepenos to taste.
