Butterfinger Cake ( my sister's way )

Figured you may like thisif butterfinger's and butterscotch is one of your fav's.

Ingredients

  • 1 yellow cake ( or any kind you like) Bake as directed.
  • 1 small jar of butterscotch ice cream topping ( has also used carmel flavor ).
  • 1 can eagle brand.
  • Butterfinger candy bars ( broke up ).
  • Cool whip ( or cake icing or any kind you may prefer ).

Method


  1. Bake cake as directed.Then when done take out of oven and while its still warm use a wooden spoon and poke holes all thru the cake.
  2. Mix butterscotch topping and eagle brand together and pour over warm cake making sure to fill the holes in.
  3. Let cake cool then add broken candy bars all over the cake and topping.
  4. Top with cool with ( or favorite icing. Thick icing is harder to spread over the candy though.)

What else? I didn't have potatoes so I substituted rice I didn't have paprika so I used another spice I didn't have tomato sauce so I used tomato paste A whole can-not a half can-I don't believe in waste. A friend gave me the recipe She said you couldn't beat it There must be something wrong with her I couldn't even eat it!
