Chocolate Quad
layered very rich dessert
Ingredients
- Layer one:
- 2 c. flour
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1 c. margarine
- Layer two:
- 1 c. cool whip
- 1 c. powdered sugar
- Layer three:
- 3 small boxes instant chocolate pudding
- 3 c. milk
- Layer four:
- cool whip
- chopped pecans if desired.
Method
Mix first three ingredients to make a dough. Press into a 9" x 13" baking dish. Bake @ 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Cool throughly.
Mix cool whip and powdered sugar, spread over cooled crust.
Mix pudding mix w/milk, spread over second layer.
Spread remaining cool whip over chocolate layer and top with chopped pecans if desired.
Your favorite pudding flavor may be substituted for the chocolate pudding. Pistachio is especially good in the summer.
