This bake is similar to lasagna in taste with a kick of green onion.
Cook noodles by boiling in salted water then drain.
Preheat oven to 375°.
Cook beef until browned. Stir in tomato sauce, sugar, salt, garlic powder, pepper and remove from heat.
Combine cottage cheese, sour cream, cream cheese, green onion and green pepper.
Spread half of the noodles in a baking dish. Moisten the noodles with some of the meat sauce. Cover with the cheese mixture, top with the remaining noodles, and then top with the remaining meat sauce. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
Bake covered (aluminum foil will suffice) at 375° for 45 minutes
