I don't bake, which is why I used the Jiffy mix. If I can get this to turn out well, anyone can. The spread is an extra boost of pumpkin.
Preheat oven to 350. Grease loaf pan. Cream sugar, Crisco, eggs, spices, and vanilla. Add pumpkin, Jiffy and nuts and mix well. Transfer to pan. Bake for 50 minutes.
For spread - add cream cheese, pumpkin, brown sugar, spices and vanilla to medium mixing bowl. Blend with hand mixer until smooth.
