I asked my aunt for some of her favorite recipes so that they don't get forgotten over time and this is one of them!
Sautee onion & garlic til just done. Brown meat and drain. Add salt & pepper. Add tomatoes, rotel & tomato sauce. Let simmer--the longer the better.
Layer tostados, sauce & grated cheese; repeat layer. Cover with foil & refrigerate until ready to bake.
Bake 350 for 30-45 minutes in greased 9x13 pan until bubbly & cheese has melted. Spread with sour cream after removing from oven.
