Sausage Egg Casserole

Great for a group at breakfast or brunch

Ingredients

  • 7 slices of bread, white or whole wheat, trimmed
  • 1 lb. sausage - cooked, drained and crumbled
  • 8 oz. grated cheddar cheese, sharp or mild
  • 6 - 10 eggs
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 t. dry mustard
  • 1 t. salt
  • 1/2 t. pepper
  • dash or 2 of worchestershire sauce

Method


Spray bottom of 9 x 13 baking dish with Pam. Place trimmed bread in dish, cover with sausage, then grated cheese. Mix eggs, milk, mustard, salt, pepper, and worchestershire until well blended. Pour over bread, sausage and cheese, cover and refrigerate overnight. Cover with foil and bake in 350 degree oven 45 minutes to 1 hour (should be set in middle.)
